Eligibility

Provide proof of household monthly income of not less than HK$15,000, or equivalent assets

Provide independent, safe and comfortable accommodation for the overseas helper

Hong Kong Labour Law
Understand rights and obligations of both employer and helper
Wages & Leave
Minimum wage: HK$4,870/month
Employers must pay at least the statutory minimum wage and provide food allowance or free meals. Statutory holidays, annual leave and sick leave must be arranged according to the Employment Ordinance.
Employer Duties
Medical & meals
Employers must provide accommodation, medical insurance and return air tickets to the helper's home country. Proper notice and severance (if applicable) are required when terminating a contract.
Insurance
Employer's liability insurance
Employers must take out employer's liability insurance covering work injury compensation for the helper. Yee Bo can assist with insurance arrangements.
